    Sunderland fans were probably right.

    "Your support is f***ing sh1t"

    Anthems to inspire the team:

"Sheep shagging bastards, we know who we are"

"And we were singing, hymns & arias ...." you know the rest.

"You're not fit to referee" etc

Obviously only the minority in a certain part of the ground making a noise, but not much more elsewhere.

That's football when you are losing. If we had scored it would have, of course, been different.

its the same when we are winning away from home.... even Sunderland...

Those chants emerge whatever the state of play.

The frequency possibly reduces if Cardiff are playing well.

Atmosphere is as bad as ive ever known it in the last couple of years. Admittedly I have moved from the Bob Bank/Grange End/Canton Stand to the Family Stand, but still, I have working ears and it's really poor very often.

It is just a very boring experience to watch Cardiff City play football at the moment. Our fans are amongst the worst in the league, even when we are winning there is “how shit must you be, we’re winning at home”, “we scored a goal” etc.

Miles away from what we used to be. Can’t remember the last time I heard “I’ll be there” which is one of our only unique songs.

We barely made a noise at Bristol and Swansea away, other games are just as bad even when we win. A gradual decline over 10 years and the decline seems permanent now

Good numbers from Sunderland on a bank holiday but even they had the same rent a chant playbook 99% of us do.

Sheepshaggers, library, shithole, gstk, probably something about Newcastle I couldn't make out.

They aren’t wrong, but I haven’t long finished watching Sunderland til I Die, they can also be a toxic lot of fans.

So what songs did you start trying to get going?

    • It's just like watching Brazil
    • We're the greatest team in football
    • I'm Cardiff till I die ...
    • You are my Cardiff ...
    • Peter Thorne is magic, he wears the magic hat ...
    • Who's that coming over the hill?
    • E4B and Leslie Lea ... for those of us who supported back in the 60's

Have tried to get ‘Oh when the blues go marching in’ at a few away games, it just morphs into ‘Oh England is……..’. The youngsters know nothing else perhaps than ‘anti’ songs and chants rather than pro City ones. The modern day City singing section is sadly way behind the 60s & 70s equivalent.

There has to be a few talented youngsters with a bit of originality, I s’pose there are but they’re pissing against the wind competing against the inane anti English and anti Swansea shite. I don’t think the modern trend of huge player turnover helps in composing individual player chants though.

That’s what they want though…Nash will be buzzing, he probably joins in with the away fans.
