It's a good piece fair play to WOL. I know those flats in the pictures in The Bay. They are off Dumballs Rd. That complex has had rats since 2011. Major problems. They're nearly all BTL owners and they just sell up to avoid paying for the pest control. They'll never get rid of them. They have to pay for the damage the rats cause in order to sell on to some poor unsuspecting buyer/renter and it never gets sorted.

The flats in The Bay up for rent look amazing. Well furnished, fitted kitchens, great quality. Any buyer or renter will smell the fresh paint and see a luxury property. It's not until people move in that they realise there's a huge problem with rats. If you've ever lived in one of these and experienced rats it's hell. Horrible experience. Can give you PTSD.

It's very interesting! Is it anything new though? I suspect it's always been this way, no?

I'm sure it won't be helped by three weekly bin collections mind, that's for sure. I know that many people put food waste in their black bins (including me)

    🤣

I had two of the food caddies disappear. I also have very little food waste. My point is, food does go in black bags and collecting them fortnightly, now three-weekly does have consequences.
