I did the job for a fair few months in 2017 because I needed time to do something else which was very important. Worked for E on, gave me a van, money was bearable. About 6 months later they made redundant (sacked) all my erstwhile colleagues because with the roll out of so many smart(?) meters they were no cost effective.
