Technically, we could still make the play-offs, so Bulut is more or less obliged to play what he thinks is his strongest side. All those fans saying he should do this or that, or he should give youngsters a chance, is missing the point. However remote it is, with six games to go, we are still in with a shout.

He’s seen how our forwards have performed in matches and in training, he’s seen how, say, Ashford has performed in training. Given the displays by our forwards this season, perhaps Ashford is part of our strongest side, he couldn’t be much weaker.
