I'm talking about Potter. He can't afford to fail again at a big club.

Disagree. Potter worked on FA programmes and has outstanding backing from the FA and highly respected. But what Potter needs is a development project, and working and developing younger players. He is a specific type of coach.

Chelsea didn’t see that he wasn’t the type
of coach to work with world class egos. That is why it was a mess. He isn’t Klopp-Guardiola standard so he won’t get a top four gig.

But weirdly I wouldn’t rule out him being offered the England job. Lots of younger players and mates with many at the FA. I don’t think he will deliver major wins for them, but he is a similar coach profile to Southgate.

Turns down Ajax. Hes supposedly on Ratcliffes shortlist of managers to replace Ten Haag in the summer.

Yet some on this forum would have you believe its not beyond the realms of possibility that Potter could replace Bulut at Cardiff.
