Darren Witcoop, a former journalist, had claimed on social media that the Rams were preparing a £250,000 bid for Adams and the Bluebirds were willing to sell but wanted double that figure. But Epic Sports Management who represent the player quickly responded to the claims on social media and said "this is not true, I am afraid."
