In the background there's a man who looks a bit like Rohan Luthra. He moved to Derby in the summer. Perhaps the Tanner lookalike became pals with the Luthra lookalike when they were in our lookalike U21s.
The bus left when it was still daylight. So if Tanner was on the bus then it's not him.
