    RIP Maurice Swan

    I’ve some bad news to pass on to you guys
    Unfortunately after a sudden illness Graham ( Maurice Swan) passed away on the 5th of October
    I spoke with him last month and he told me he’d been diagnosed with Leukaemia and was in and out of hospital
    He hadn’t returned my emails or calls for several weeks and his wife Nina passed on the sad news this morning.
    He was a lifelong Bluebird hailing from the Rhondda and had a great life
    He was in his seventies when he met and married her and raised a young family all over again settling in France.
    He was taken too soon
    Goodbye my friend

    RIP, his last few posts seemed like he knew things were heading that way. Hope his young family will be ok.

    Was only wondering about him last week because he hadn’t posted on here for a while.

    Was always grateful to him for his offer of help when the blog was struggling a few years ago.

    I remember that he was calling for the youngsters to be given a chance - he would have loved to have seen the likes of Colwill, Tanner and Robertson playing like that on Saturday.

    Condolences to his friends and family.

    It was only a few weeks ago he posted from hospital trying to help out with some links. He had previously posted about his sudden illness.
