Although seeing City play in white looks all together wrong for some now, in 1969 I don't think most City fans had a particular aversion to the colour because of the prized beauts in the West.

City have a white away kit in the 90s which caused some moither for some. Had Brains as the sponsor which I always thought was ironic.
