Here we go then
Plymouth away. Back to back saturday’s
well it was a good run ,while it lasted
Another 7-0 tonking coming.
Villa, Newcastle or Man City were the guaranteed batterings.
Of course we got one of them.
Not great, good day out though
Not too gruelling a trip if it’s at a daft time on a daft day.
It will be Friday night or Saturday I guess…looking at their fixtures.
What a crap draw, when was the last time we were drawn at home in this competition? Leeds I think, this is five straight away games now.
Nice trip and not too far - but we were long overdue something like this at home in the cup. Could have been special.
Man City 2018 was the last time we were at home as far as I can remember other than covid season.
Do we know when this will be confirmed - just pricing up a train.
They have a league game, and a Champions league game either side of that weekend….hopefully they’ll play their 2nds.
Was praying for this draw. Can’t wait to walk out at Villa Park with Cardiff and play in front of the Holte End again! #CityAsOne #UTV

Isn’t this because we get seeded?
But anyway we show that no respect and get beat.
My argument is that all teams play a weakened team as it’s at the start of the season.
Why not bring the first round forward into the pre season before the league starts as often a stronger side is fielded in the final pre season games.
While I would have preferred a lower lteam at home there is always a chance as they’ll be fielding a mix of kids and reserves. Plymouth was a good example yesterday of where it all goes wrong when a manager pushes the boundaries!
Quite like that, but at home would have been better.
