    Bristol City and trouble

Why do the police allow them to come into the city centre? Always causing trouble at our game https://www.walesonline.co.uk/news/w...entre-31012364

Probably wouldn't even warrant a page in a book

Embarrassing from the wurzels, must have terrified a few shoppers, do they need help getting back to the 1980’s?

Why did SWP take them through the City centre? They always go via Penarth Road/ Sloper Rd.

They probably wanted to see the castle as Bristol's castle is pathetic in comparison.

In all seriousness, this will very likely be a bubble trip in future again?

It was quite funny I thought. I was in St Mary St at a cash point and a crowd of them were marched up towards the castle. The police then turned them down Wharton St.
I made my way down to The Prince of Wales for a pint, sat in there and about 20 minutes later the same Wurzel lot were being marched down Westgate St to turn right into Wood St and, I presume, a walk all the way to the ground. It was pissing down and it must have been the most uncomfortable sponsored walk ever. Daft c*nts

So you had two opportunities to steam into them and you didn't take it?
You were more concerned with meeting up with your mates and having a beer, right?

    I know your sort.

What I don't understand is if it's not a bubble how can the police really do anything about it.

It's like when they seem to catch them coming out of the stadium and round them up. Surely if you want to go in the opposite direction they can't force you without detaining you.

This is where the bubble obviously helps them but it's not much good for the vast majority of fans who can behave and just want a pint or a wander about.

and after a few hundred passing me on Sloper road today i conclude the average age of them was 16

brought back memories of last season when ipswich youth were trying to dish out a bit of argy bargy outside the stadium !

just seen a post and a video of them " having a go " at the POW pub, they are calling it a result, then someone posted a video taken from inside the pub, its a typical 'spoons morning crowd, having a quiet pint or a coffee all sat at tables getting on with having a drink

I've been marched to grounds plenty of times. Before bubbles were a thing. It worked. That's why people started taking early trains, private coaches, minivans etc.

I was in the pub at the time and just leaving when it happened, I stood there as they run over with glass raining down, the only person who grabbed me was the doorman trying to get everyone back in. they were the only people who looked worried

Wurzels fan gets 3 year banning order, 500 fine, gets told he only got caught because he's a ginge, then has to listen as the court chuckles that his team is unlikely to ever get to Wembley.

His lawyers are working on filing for a compensation claim as we speak, on the basis of 'gingerism'.

Looking at that photo, the kid is going to have bags under his eyes by the time he's 20!

Bristol City and Wembley, in the same sentence?
It was at that point the judge couldn't contain his laughter and dropped his gavel.
