Any explanation yet as to why the jacks brought in Notts County’s Director of Football, who’d worked with Williams at that club, a few days before they sacked the manager? Must admit, I thought that was a statement of faith in Williams that said he’d be safe in his job until the end of the season at least - that seems to be a stroke even Tan wouldn’t pull in the very unlikely event of him ever being persuaded that a Director of Football was needed.
