Japan fight back to make it 2-2 at half time and appear to be taking control, but Wales are still looking dangerous when they attack. It’s a four team tournament with the USA having beaten Germany in the first game.

Wales win in it 3-2 with a superb free kick in added time. Jac Thomas played the whole game and was one of the better Welsh players, Mannie Barton had his moments before being withdrawn after about an hour.
What a descent game of football, Japan technically good and full of energy but I thought we matched them in every aspect of the game. well done to the boys and good luck against the Americans
1-1 draw with the USA today with Dragon Soccer saying Wales won 5-4 on penalties. Whether that means we won the game or it’s some sort of arrangement similar to what they have in the Mickey Mouse Cup, I’m not sure.
The under-17s got a good 1-1 draw against the hosts in Portugal today but the loss against Slovenia earlier in the week has scuppered their chances of going further in the u-17 Euros. Conaty, Moreno and Norris started, Axel Donczew got the equaliser.
The under 19s final game in the mini tournament in North Wales is the morning with a 11 o clock kick off against Germany. They top the table currently, but probably need to win to take first place. The game will be streamed on You Tube.
Jac Thomas starts for Wales.
