Trott
Kpacio
Lawler
Cowlill R
Kellyman (but not ours)
maybe Ashford, Salech, Bagan?
Probably some of the young players in the academy, Perrett, Tankiewicz?
Steady now.
Let's calm down a little, we're in League 1. Nobody in this squad is worth 10s of millions.
I've posted previously that I think Kpakio & Lawlor will be Premier League players, I'm still reasonably confident about that, but its impossible to gauge realistically where they're at in terms of value. They could both just as easily stop growing, there's plenty of players who've looked good but never kicked on (though I think these two are very good already and could do a job higher)
There is probably a scenario where Salech goes for a decent fee if we were to get promoted and he scored a few goals, purely due to the premium placed on younger strikers. His record for us is quite impressive, 8 goals in 20 for the worst team in the Championship and then 7 in 16 this season even when many don't think he's firing on all cylinders. There's certainly room for growth with him, but this is a huge hypothetical.
Perrett & Tankiewicz have never even played a league game, come on now.
hes had a busy week sticking mark drakeford posters up ,give north cardiff blue a break
Trotts not even our player![]()
Lawlor is the only guarantee. Kpakio maybe if he keeps holding his own.
I don't keep up with transfer fees much apart from the unavoidable mega ones. How much a is a decent Championship player these days? How much would someone like Kav be worth?
It was a question and names with possibilities of big careers and £ 10million plus valuations, probably in the future.
I think Lalwor and Kpacio will make it, almost all Premier League players are worth £10Mill now.
I'd imagine at least two will join them, hard to tell who right now.
Kellyman was £19 million, and he's not a starter when all players are available.
Kellyman was only £19m because of PSR shenanigans between Villa & Chelsea
Like I said, I think Lawlor & Kpakio probably will be, but there's also no way of knowing for sure. Bear in mind they haven't even played 20 league games yet at this stage in their career, on the one hand this makes their performances even more impressive, but on the other will give pause for thought for any scouts, lets see how they handle adversity or being in a less dominant side before labelling them as £10m+ players
I think if we sold Lawlor in January we could expect something approaching it. First choice for Wales recently and has held his own against some half decent teams, at that age and especially position somebody would jump at it.
Rest is pure speculation. If Kpakio keeps his current form up, I can see him getting there one day.
Our academy has produced a good few, and it looks like more to follow. Gaving Chesterfield, Purse and the rest are doing a great job!

Former Cardiff City youth coach David Hughes believes the crop of young talent currently in the Bluebirds' ranks makes for an "exciting period" at the club.
Brian Barry-Murphy has relied heavily on players from the Bluebirds' academy since taking charge of the club in the summer following Cardiff's relegation from the Championship.
Several young guns, including Rubin Colwill, have thrived this season as Cardiff look to secure an immediate return to the second-tier, with Hughes praising the work done within the club's youth set-up.
"James McCarthy was there before me when those younger players were recruited and he deserves the credit for it. Gavin Chesterfield has taken it on from there," Hughes told the Feast of Football podcast.
"When you look at some of the younger players, Joel [Colwill], Dylan [Lawlor], they sold a few, Charlie Crew went to Leeds, Lewys Benjamin to Wolves, Gabriele Biancheri went to Manchester United, all from the same age group of the ones we're talking about.
"There is definitely a group within that era where they can cement themselves as top players, Rubin being one of those.
"I think it's an exciting period for the club with the young players they've got and the ones they've got coming behind which is equally as exciting for Wales as it is for Cardiff, so let's hope they can push on with a promotion."
Only Peterborough United have fielded a side with an average age younger than Barry-Murphy has deployed at Cardiff so far in League One this season.
Hughes feels the club's relegation provided the platform for Cardiff's young guns to impress.
"There's a different focus from staying in the Championship to trying to win a league," he added.
"They go down, and now the intention is to try and win the league.
"What relegation may have done is open the door for the younger players to get the experience of playing in League One to then step back up."
Tens of millions is a bit of a stretch. But what is indisputable is that BBM has put millions on the value of the squad and therefore the club. There were rumours that Brentford offered £6m for R Colwill in the summer and the board was seriously considering a £1m off for Lawlor from Servette Geneva. Both of those are now conservatively in the £10-15m range. And if we go up make that a £15-20m range. Kpakio is already in the £5-10 range and arguably Ashford and J Colwill a £3-5m. And there are plenty more who have added to their value: Fish,Bagan,Trott etc. Maybe Tan was right not to sell in the Summer (from his viewpoint)
If either Colwill or Lawlor were worth £10m-£15m then someone would offer that and they’d be sold. Completely ridiculous.
I doubt we’ll ever get more than £3m for Colwill.
Lawlor looks to be a fantastic prospect but I thought McGuiness would be comfortable Premier League and he’s currently bench boy for Sheff Utd
