VAR for corners at next year's world cup

So that'll be VAR for goals, penalties, second yellow cards, corners... and 20 minutes of stoppage time every game.

Makes sense, was probably part of the bid so they can fit some ads in somewhere.

    Not sure I agree.

I had the same thought. Squeeze in an ad every time there's a review and tell the VAR officials not to announce their decision until we're back from the break.

They took absolutely ages reviewing 2 potential offsides for a Fulham goal last night, think it was about 5 minutes - absolutely ridiculous!

It took them 5 minutes to deny a Nottingham Forest goal tonight, when it was so obvious, they should only have taken about 30 seconds. That ex-ref tw*t on Sky Sports said, but he's inexperienced at using VAR.

For corners how? The taking of corners? Reviewing what happens in the 6 yard box?

Alter your viewing schedules to allow for 120 minute matches.
It takes 5 minutes to decide on a fairly obvious offside.
Also be prepared for decisions to go the way of the top four seeds so they reach the semi finals.

Based on an in-depth study of the officiating of Bobby Madley.

You mean the top three seeds plus USA (Donald will be there, with his "football peace prize")

US and Portugal to get the Coca-Cola Fast Pass into the quarters. Awarded by Infantino totally above board to the current holder of the FIFA Peace Prize and the recipient of the lifelong achievement award. In Birmingham, Alabama because of all the crime in all the other hosting cities.
