The board are also conscious of the financial outlay but that can only be a primary concern if they don't actually feel we are being relegated.
Personally the team has relegation with a whimper all over it at the moment and I'd be concerned that each week this goes on the harder it will be for a new manager to fully turn it around.
Letting in goals for days, not scoring, no goal in first half, one goal against basically ends us, no one is confident, lack of leaders beyond the captain who has been well out of form himself.
The last point is annoying as for a few seasons we had loads.

I think deep down he knows he has nothing more to offer Cardiff and should resign he is just hanging on to be sacked and receive a huge settlement. The honourable thing to do would be to resign with a much reduced settlement agreed with the board.
I'm wondering if in these talks MM had with Tan, did he say, give me two more games and if i fail, I'll leave by mutual agreement, still poses 2 questions.

Nothing should save him, absolutely nothing. I’m not an advocate of sacking anyone but he’s burying himself here. Even if we win 3-0 it proves nothing.
It just seems that the inevitable conclusion to this sorry saga has no definitive end point, even though we get closer to it every day.
