I am not totally convinced by our general defending but Saturday (same as against Luton) we concede headers in our 6 yard box. Why isn’t Alsop commanding that space and at least punching crosses away.
Also was Colwill injured on Saturday - not even on the bench ?

He was excellent against Birmingham. Really really good, but in the last 2-3 games he’s been increasingly poor

Yeah weird. Not even a mention of him :-/

Maybe it was because Birmingham were shite

Nkounkou's defending for the goal was laughable, he looked like he was daydreaming as the ball sailed over his head, he then watched what was about to happen next like he'd bought a ticket for the game

He’s never been caught offside, because he’s never attempted to make a run forward.

    He’s static

All of those 11 dispossessions must have come in the first 5 minutes at Millwall.

Surprised at all the comments, I think he’s got huge potential and a starter for me.

He lost the ball more than 4 times in the first 5 mins. He wasn’t even dispossessed. He just gave it away.

Thanks. No mention of his pink tights, though.

Here's another stat for you: Cardiff City have scored just one goal in the five games Philogene has started this season.

Daniel Johnson has played more than three hundred times for Preston after signing for them in 2015.

I only seen a little of the Millwall game. What I had seen previously though I’d like him and ODowda to start when fit.

Don’t get me wrong, I think that he has potential and he looks like a player who can make things happen (which we desperately need) but he has tended to over elaborate at times and was poor against Millwall.

For example, if you keep losing possession, especially at the start of a game (and it happens sometimes) make sure that you play the simple ball next time. Work your way into a game.

I’d like to see more of him though as I would many in the squad (bar the odd exception ;-) )

To be fair he did score it which makes him an over achiever in this squad.😂

To be fair it's worth remembering that he's only 20 and he's in the very early stages of his development. He's going to lose the ball and make the wrong decisions at times.

Personally I'm not a fan of playing wingers, in the modern game full backs should be providing the width. I'd rather us play two out and out strikers and a 10 in behind.
