A free hit? Disappointed if we don't win? Let's hope all the other teams lose as well!

Should be a cracking day out. Stadium will be rammed and maybe we can come away with something.

Leeds must be massive favourites here, only dropped 7 points at home all season

Wonder if Mannsverk will be straight into the 11?

    No

Hopefully one of the left backs will be back as Dan James is very quick - preferably O’Dowda then
I’d leave the midfield alone and bring Tanner in for Willock - then bring El Ghazi on 70 minutes if we’re still in it
    Alnwick
    Rhinamota
    Daland
    Goutas
    O’Dowda
    Ralls
    Chambers
    Robertson
    Tanner
    Robinson
    Ashford

    Bench
    Hovarth
    Colwill
    Bagan
    Ng
    Salech
    Siopsis/mannsverk
    El Ghazi
    Mitie

I’d rather mitie than Willock to be honest

Dan James often flatters to deceive, though.

He's more effective on the right.

Wouldn't Ajax loan Mannsverk out so he plays.
There's always rumours that loanees must play a certain amount games, isn't there ?

Watched Leeds other night. Had most of the possession and we will have to have legs in midfield as they will run us ragged. Think I would play Siopis instead of Ralls and start ElGhazi. His experience will be invaluable.
If Odowda pulled his hammy as it looked at the time it will be Bagan at fullback.
I agree Mannsverk will be on bench.

We’ve got 1 clean sheet in 17 games and Leeds are the top scoring team in the division by quite a big margin. Averaging nearly 2 goals a game.

Unfortunately I think they’ll score 3. We might get lucky and score 1 ourselves because we’re on a decent scoring run.

    I don’t
I’m hazarding a guess at what the team might be as I was bored and thought I’d comment on a football message board - I’m not the team manager 😀

Mannsverk should start. Get some decent minutes in. There are bigger games ahead and the sooner he is up to speed the better.

Re: LEEDS UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Can't be any free hits given our situation and number of games left.

Really every match is winnable, Leeds are second division for a reason, clearly some more winnable than others and we will rightly be big underdogs.

Given we have won only 7 matches though I don't think we can rely too much on the more favourable fixtures.

On the back of some decent form I'd love to see us have a good go.

I wouldn't complain at all about a point but with the squad we have I think we have more chance of even that if we were to start more positively than clinging on to the nil nil for as long as possible before we start to play a bit.

You have to be careful though. You go about daring to message on a message board, you never know who might be watching

Anyone who fancies us to pull off a shock we are 12/1 with William Hill and Paddy Power.

25/1 and I might be interested!

Probably more important we don’t pick up any injuries to key players for the far more important upcoming games

Re: LEEDS UNITED v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

Can't see us getting anything so it would be good to keep it tight - never know if goal different will be important.

I'd stick Salech up front to hold the ball up. Robbo as no 10. Chambers and Mansverk, like the kids say, as a double pivot.

A shot to nothing game but they weren't very good against Burnley only a few days ago so I reckon we could get something and keep the unbeaten run going.

I'm going to Leeds tomorrow. It's my first visit for 20 years.

Last time I went it was a bubble trip.
