Corner time, free kick time, not one defending team player will go to say the halfway line allowing every opposing player to compress the defending team into a 10 yard space in front of goal, and also prevent an opportunity of a quick break, Shirley by putting just one player on the halfway line the attacking side will put two players back to cope with this ? too many players in such a small space puts doubt into the defending players of whose doing what, WBA did exactly the same when we had a corner / free kick, I'm sure there are many good reasons for this but I hate it.
