Away from the hum drum saga over the next Cardiff city Manager tonight Wales take on Liechtenstein at the Cardiff City stadium in world cup qualifier
Only injury reported Dan James apart from that looks like a full squad to choose from
Can only see a Wales win so predictions from me .what's yours ?
3-1 home win
anyone from here going
I'll be there. 4-1.
kpakio cut from the matchday squad so won't see him get any game time tonight
Liechtenstein ranked 205'th in the world
7-0 Wales.
Feels a bit odd not to have Crew/Kpakio in the squad for this game. I get you don't want to take teams lightly, prepare the same for everyone etc but its Liechtenstein and a 12 man bench. You can have plenty of options before those 2 if things don't go the way we hope
World Cup qualifier: Wales v Liechtenstein
Venue: Cardiff City Stadium Date: Friday, 6 June Kick off: 19:45 BST
Coverage: Live on BBC One Wales, BBC Three, S4C, iPlayer, BBC Radio Wales and Radio Cymru, the BBC Sport website and app, plus live text commentary.
Wales head coach Craig Bellamy says he has been having sleepless nights as his side aim to avoid embarrassment against minnows Liechtenstein in Friday's World Cup qualifier.
Only five teams in the world are ranked lower than Liechtenstein in 205th, so 29th-place Wales are expected to make light work of extending their opponents' winless run to 36 competitive matches in Cardiff.
Wales are second in Group J having beaten Kazakhstan and drawn with North Macedonia in their opening two matches, but top seeds Belgium - who Bellamy's side face on Monday - have not yet started their campaign.
"Win the game. That is it. I don't care about scorelines, I don't care about this, I don't care about that," said Bellamy.
"Do I understand people looking past it? Of course I do. Do I understand people believing we should win? Of course I do.
"But I was up late last night. I didn't sleep well. Does that tell you something? I treat every team the same. I've watched the same amount of games on Liechtenstein as I have for every other team.
"My psyche can't work any differently. I honestly believe if you disrespect the game it will catch you out."
Liechtenstein have not won a competitive game for five years, a 35-match winless run that is more than twice as long as any other European nation is currently on, with Andorra winless in 17.
The tiny principality lost their opening two matches of this campaign in March - 3-0 to North Macedonia and 2-0 to Kazakhstan - meaning they are now without victory in 43 World Cup qualification fixtures, conceding three goals per game on average.
North Macedonia lead Wales at the top of Group J on goal difference, following the two sides' dramatic 1-1 draw in Skopje last time out.
The group winners qualify automatically for the World Cup, while four remaining places will be determined by play-offs involving the 12 group runners-up and four teams from last year's Nations League phase.
Wales have already effectively guaranteed a play-off place - should they need it - having topped their Nations League group.
"We've prepared for Liechtenstein as we did for Turkey and everyone else," Bellamy added.
"The consistency is us. How we work has to remain. It doesn't matter who we play against.
"Every game gives us an opportunity to progress. Can we improve? Can we get better? It's the same tomorrow [Friday] night."
Team news
Wales will be without Daniel James against Liechtenstein because of illness, but the Leeds United winger has not yet been ruled out of Monday's game in Belgium.
"Unfortunately he picked up an illness so we've had to separate him from the group," said Bellamy.
"We can't afford to have any other players infected of course. We're monitoring him and monitoring the situation, but we've got cover. It's OK."
Captain Aaron Ramsey remains a long-term absentee through injury, but Wales are able to welcome back two important players in the form of Ethan Ampadu and Harry Wilson.
Leeds United captain Ampadu, 24, and Fulham attacking midfielder Wilson, 28, were injured for the opening games of the campaign in March.
Match facts
Wales have won all three of their previous meetings with Liechtenstein in all competitions without conceding, with each of those victories coming under John Toshack between 2006 and 2009.
Liechtenstein will travel to face Wales for only the third time, most recently losing 2-0 in a World Cup qualifier at the Millennium Stadium in October 2008. Their other saw them suffer a 4-0 friendly defeat at the Racecourse Ground in November 2006, a match current Wales boss Craig Bellamy scored in.
Wales have lost just two of their past 24 World Cup qualifiers (W12 D10), to the Republic of Ireland in qualification for the 2018 tournament and to Belgium ahead of the 2022 tournament.
Wales remain unbeaten in eight games under Craig Bellamy (W4 D4) and, should he pick up his fifth win in this match, he will be the joint-second quickest manager to that mark with the nation alongside Mike Smith in 1975, and behind only Mike England in 1981 (7 games).
Liechtenstein are winless in each of their past 43 World Cup qualification matches, since a 3-0 win over Luxembourg in September 2005 (D5 L38) – in that period they have averaged 3.0 goals against per game (128 total) and just 0.2 goals per game (10 total).
Harry Wilson has scored four times and assisted once across his past five appearances for Wales and is the nation's top goal scorer under Craig Bellamy (4). Eight of Wilson's 12 goals have come against nations ranked outside the top 50, with Liechtenstein currently sat 205th.
Joe Rodon could make his 50th start for Wales in this game, with the Leeds defender making more starts than any other player since his debut against Azerbaijan in September 2019.
Strange this game against a minor team is clashing both with Glamorgan cricket and also the Diamond League in Rome.

Lining up against Liechtenstein
The LIECHTENSTEIN national anthem has the same tune as God Save The King...
Bellamy: "Yeah, no, yeah". Is that a new one?
I hope Ampadu has sobered up after his bus tour escapades!
injury to Neco looks bad, can't see him playing against Belgium
Has Cullen touched the ball?
Thomas's corners have been very good
Sorba Thomas has fantastic delivery.
Turning into my favorite Wales Player.
That wasn’t a corner.
Da Silva looks decent. Everything going through Sorba, would like Johnson to be that involved.
Belgium 1-0 up in North Macedonia and a very interesting half time score elsewhere, Norway 3 Italy 0.
