Indeed it could. Creativity and commitment have been sadly lacking among what seems to be predominantly a team of journeymen.

    Re: Ollie Tanner

I think he could be very effective in League One. I do agree with the “throwing his hands in the air” rubbish. It works once in a while but in a relegation battle where the players completely bottled it, it loses its impact.

Great on his day. Which is about twice a year. Looks like he can’t be arsed rest of the days.

Think he may end up being an impact sub.

    Re: Ollie Tanner

Si on The Cardiff city world podcast said he’s asked for a move, because he’s too good for league one. ****ing liberty if you ask me

    Re: Ollie Tanner

He’s show flashes but most of what he’s produced for us isn’t even L1 level in my opinion.

Give the new manager a chance to get something out of him, but he’s got a mile and a half to go before he’s smashing it consistently for us next season. His decision making is some of the worst I’ve ever seen in a pro footballer.

    Re: Ollie Tanner

Tanner has a lot to prove if he is given the chance. Otherwise he will stay a fringe player.

We have a lot of players the same question could be asked of.
The Colwill’s, Ashford, Davies, Etete as well as Tanner.
All capable of great moments but do not deliver consistently.
Getting them to perform better would be a real boost.
As would improving the performances of Willock, Robertson, Horvarth, Daland.
Add to the above getting the best out of Alnwick, Chambers, Fish, Bagan, Turnbull, NG, O’Dowda, Salech and Robinson and we could have a good squad.

I like the strategy of enabling every player to think they have an opportunity to be selected. I hope all the individuals who stay buy into that.

Personally, I really like Ollie and think there is a really good attacking player in there. I hope he gets plenty of opportunities in league one. I would pick him 46 times out of 46 v willock - the so called championship proven winger!

If that is true then good riddance to him. We need players that are fully on board in League One.

Guys not even professional or mature enough for L1 let alone the Championship. Still behaves like he’s a semi-pro footballer.

Needs to lay off the balloons.

Mate, don’t get upset about something that someone has said on a podcast. It’s that time of year when someone speculates and 5 minutes later it’s published as a fact. Simic is a good example, all the reports say he’s signing for Osijek yet he’s gone to Karlsruhr on loan.

Not upset about it haha but yeah I take everything I hear with a shed load of salt.

Nothing I have seen of him suggests he is 'too good' for League One, if the claims of him saying this are to believed.

He’s barely good enough for league 2. He should start by trying to find his man in the box more than one a season.
