BBC iPlayer have a live webcam pointing to Cardiff Central Station and one pointing to the river side of the stadium.

Not long back from a funeral at Thornhill. Surprised that the traffic was reasonable, expected to be held up significantly.

Saw them Astoria 94 which was a decent gig to be fair, they were raw then and not quite famous..
I was at that gig too 👍

Yep it was the CIA not the ice rink.

I saw Oasis in Tiffany's nightclub Newport in 1981. Not the Manc bunch, the original Oasis. They had a guitarist called Howard Maggs who was a superb player.

Traffic isn't too bad because many travel from far and wide arriving at different times over a few days.
Travel is often worse for Cardiff games with 20k attending, than 30k for a Wales game, as many travel locally by car from rather than further afield by coach and train.

I have to agree with this. My biggest stress for City games is parking!

You should be OK, they left the stadium in different vehicles.

I wouldn’t cross the Rd to watch them at any time. Most overrated band ever.
So many mug punters willing to pay well over the odds. Like lemmings jumping over a cliff.

In your opinion, for some, like me, they are the sound of my youth and I’ve paid over the odds to get a ticket.

I’ll look back in 20 years on the enjoyable experience I had. No doubt you’ll look back with misery and regret.

Someone have a different music taste than you? Impossible that!

    Hands up for me Bill.

In my defence, the wife took the decision due to my 12 year old.

    Those two enjoyed it.

As for 'mug punters', fuuck me the amount of adidas x oasis stuff on display was frightening. Kids doing so I can do, 50 year old men doing so need to be put on some kind of register somewhere.

Ignore Bill anyway. People are only allowed to moan about things he doesn’t like on here. God forbid you moan about Vincent Tan on a CCFC message board but moaning about Oasis is fair game.

Definitely Maybe was released 3 days after my 18th birthday. As you say, it was sound of our youth and generation, and generations to come judging by the new younger fans still listening to them. Wasn’t too gutted I missed out on tickets initially, rather the new generation of fans have their chance to see them, but after seeing some of the videos of last night and the set list I am absolutely****ing gutted. Looked quite the occasion and the photo taking from behind of them walking out together is going to be iconic.

Hope you have a great day 👍🏻

    You'll love it butt.

Plenty of singing, swaying and nostalgia there last night.

Wasn't for me but I'm a miserable cuunt.

Just like a moth to a flame, here he is. The Merthyr lurker following me around the MB.
You’re like a pimple on the end of my nose.
It doesn’t hurt, but you always know it’s there.
