The England women managed something arguably more weird in their T20 v India. The openers put on 137 then somehow managed to lose 9 wickets in the final 6 overs finishing on 171-9. The openers scored 82% of the total.
India were 123-1 in reply and managed to pluck defeat out of the jaws of victory.

Meanwhile, the Aussie batting line up is still far from convincing in the Caribbean. Shame.

I’d play him in the four day stuff in front of ul Hassan or Harris.

I went to sleep assuming the women had lost as, after alternating between the two, I switched entirely to the Glamorgan game for the closing overs. Still not convinced by the women who were dreadfully bad in the first game and not much better in the second one - they should have scored another twenty or so last night as well.

As for Glamorgan, a statement win which wasn’t really as close as the score suggests, if we can improve our home record we should qualify from here. Great performances from Leonard and Douthwaite, while Ingram is having a brilliant last few years of his career.

It's a great series. Quality batting everywhere. But not sure which batsman is going to click next, apart from Gill.

Bob, what did you think of the late call for a review which seemed to be completely missed by the umpires? Another new cricket controversy, avoided by the review going England's way.

Not seen it yet Rich, will have a look at the highlights on I Player (I missed the amazing pre lunch period as well!). It is a great series, but I wish Stokes wouldn’t automatically decide to field all the time - England we’re lucky to get away with it in the first test and it looks like costing them here.

Our record in our games so far in the Blast is WLWLWLWLW. As much as I like the pattern, we could really do with breaking the cycle and getting at least 3 more Ws in the remaining 5 games.

I think to still be in the positive column after 2 games in a row against the best team in the league is pretty encouraging. A win against Kent would give us a nice cushion over them.

    Yep I would too.
