I like the way we try to play. I am enjoying the journey.
BBM has rekindled my love of all things (apart from the Board and the ludicrous stadium entry searches) Cardiff City.
Anyone else onboard the BBM train?

Good luck to him. Sadly hes already being labeled a puppet elsewhere.
Give it a rest Sambo. You don't support Cardiff and you're not Welsh. You're a Scotsman and your team are St. Mirren. That means you're a Buddy not a Bluebird. Stop pretending to support other teams in order to abuse and insult their supporters while occasionally offering people out for fights, things that you'll never turn up for because you live in Paisley you Feegie Park tramp. Of course Ninian Knight is yet another one of your multis as well.
I notice that you have an astonishing forty plus user names on here and have registered even more and you're not even trying to hide their links to previously banned user names. So you've got Underhill1980 which is exactly the same as Underhill1927 which got banned for insulting and abusive behaviour and Blooburd2 which is a straight copy of Blooburd which got banned for hurling 100% bile at CCFC while periodically posting HOOFBALL in capitals to get bites. Of course logic would indicate that your next account will be Logic2 you weirdo.
I am nobody's multi. I am Welsh born in Pontypool, I don't support St. Mirren and I live just outside Newport. You could not have got things more wrong. If it would help I am happy to meet you in Cardiff just to prove the point and I'll bring my birth certificate with me.
What a moron
I was cautiously optimistic until he signed Trott and said how much he loves him. Unnecessary signing that I don’t think makes us better at all.
I like that he has high standards for the team but a few losses in a row and we’ll see if the players react to those standards positively. I’m not so sure considering they’re largely the same team that downed tools last season.
I’m worried he’s got all these nice ideas in his head about what a “Head Coach” should be but it just won’t translate into performances.
Port Vale game was a dampener. Many predicted we need a “good start”. Tomorrow already feels important in that respect.
I like that I get to see Kpakio play every week though.
It's still a work in progress, as far as I'm concerned. There are some signs of progress, but at the same time, the (basic) things that got us relegated have been showing up again this season. BBM will hopefully recruit a couple of top guys before the end of the window, and at the same time, work to eradicate the stupid errors we are still making, at both ends of the pitch. Onwards and upwards.
Yes, I’m enjoying it so far. I watched streams of four pre season games and our performance at QPR was a pleasure to watch. We have not reached such heights again and, clearly, we have a few issues, but when you consider 14 have left, only 1 has come in and this is a very young squad coming off a relegation, we have served up 2 enjoyable, winning, home performances. You’d also like to think that as they get more used to BBM’s methods, there is potential for a lot of the players to improve.
Talk of long term plans and 'journeys'.
How many seasons are we prepared to accept 3rd division football?
I’m intrigued more than anything. I don’t think we have played anyone decent yet. I can see it clicking in the final third eventually, there is a clear identity to what he wants to do.
But defensively I think we will struggle against better teams. We either need better defensive players or we will need to change shape (which seems unlikely).
Don't kid a kidder Sambo.
Before you found this place ten years ago you were on Scotland Mad and that was your original user name but you said you were a Jamaican living in Glasgow and it was your real name.
On the thread about the Liverpool car crash you used Coyote, William Treseder and NinianKnight in conjunction with each other to show that the perpertrator was a Muslim terrorist when in fact it was a jakey from Liverpool called Paul Doyle.

The fact is these Cardiff supporters know nothing about you but I do because I was a daily visitor to Scotland Mad for ten years from 2008. Don't forget that you had literally hundreds of user names banned on there because you were so abusive.
As for the rest of you I don't support Cardiff and I'm not going to pretend to. In fact I've never actually visited Wales. I live in and support Ipswich but I don't go to or watch games and I won't be talking about Town on here because a. it's rude and b. you wouldn't be interested anyway.
Right I'll stop here because I'm on the red wine and I'm starting to get pyshed and I'm fed up with having to correct my typos all the time.
Id always presumed Underhill 72 and 80 were the same poster. Can't remember them ever being abusive or insulting.
BBM when you have done a 50 year journey then you can have an opinion.
I am mainly positive about BBM.
I like his intensity, the way he has us playing, the emphasis on youth, and the buy-in from the players. When it clicks it looks good.
I was a bit concerned about his apparent complacency about the continuing defensive frailties. But when a reporter told him yesterday that Joel Bagan had identified his goals and assists record as the main area to improve, BBM came straight back with a line that defending properly (individually and as a unit) is the first priority - then improve the goals and assists!
He has also spoken about the pragmatism he developed after his start at Rochdale. The possession-based style (with all the associated risks of cheap goals conceded from playing out from the back) that at time turned into 'possession for possession's sake', was something he claims to have modified. He talks about efficiency in moving the ball quickly to attacking players. There is some evidence for that from pre-season and the first few games.
I am mainly encouraged by the focus on improving players (especially but not only youth players) who are already at the club.
When we think back a few years to the days of 'anti football', of reliance on set pieces (set pieces good; only set pieces bad), of static players, of an inability to pass a football, of a lack of rotation (one of Blakey's main gripes in the Boot Room), of a lack of coaching in the squad (another Blakey gripe), this club/squad/team is transformed. We have lost something as part of the change - defensive solidity, character, leadership across the pitch - and need to get that back, but overall the changes have been for the better.
It won't convince anyone if we don't strengthen the squad and at least compete for promotion this season. But so far, so good.
Interesting thread hahahaha.
I can promise you
