    I couldn't get to the game yesterday but was following it on various blogs, SSN and the club audio.

    I wondered whether Wellens would put Jack Simpson on - and what the reaction would be. He was the only outfield sub not used.

    Bonkers game. 'Much to work on'. It may also show the downside of picking matchday teams based on weekday training (if that is really the only criteria). Breaking up partnerships that work - especially at centre back - can backfire.

    BBM's policy of basing his team selections on performances on the training ground have all the hallmarks of a coach in a manager's job. What's Fish been doing this last week - hanging around the back of the changing rooms with a fag in his mouth ?

    I agree about Kpakio. In the 2nd half he showed just what a good player he is, but again, BBM should be ironing out those defensive frailties which he has in common with Bagan and Lawlor.
