We haven't looked like breaking them down from open play

Too little too late he should have been on earlier.

Can't see Rubin ever getting a game under Bellamy.

At least Kazakhstan took points off North Macedonia which means we can finish second if we win our last two games

Harsh. They haven’t played too badly, but this squad of players just isn’t good enough.

Defensively we are a shambles under Bellamy. Way too open at the back.
Even if we beat North Macedonia we are likely to finish third in the group as our goal difference is a fair bit worse than theirs.
A bit of a reality check for Bellamy.

Bellamy talks a good game but I'm not seeing it on the pitch.

If we somehow beat North Macedonia at home we only need a point against Lichtenstein to finish second

Bellamy waxing lyrical sounds great when we are doing OK but when we are conceding such poor goals it starts to grate.
    Just so poor defensively.

We'd lost the game even before we took to the pitch. Harris?? Why??? He hadn't scored in 14 appearances before tonight. So why make him our main striker for this massive game? Why not play Brennan J as our main striker? He always looked pretty good is this role,, the few times I saw him play in this position for Forest. Why not Broadhead? I'd even prefer Isaac Davies up there instead of Mr Bang Average Harris. Davies at least has the speed to take on defenders and with a good eye for goal too. Also Darlow! He's no bloody good. He should stick to running an estate agents.

Nobody really expected a victory tonight if they’re being honest. Bit harsh to be having a go at Bellamy. We have an average squad, and it’s as simple as that.

Could that possibly be because the defenders the manager has at his disposal are mediocre at best?

According to the commentary, Bellamy was going to select a 19 year-old who is playing in League One if he hadn’t got injured in training. And that’s to play against the likes of De Bruyne, Doku and Trossard. That should put things in perspective.

You're right, but tonight we looked like a team of lower tier PL players, and bog standard Championship/L1 players. I cant say anyonone raised their game. For any Wales manager to be successful they need the team to produce more than the sum of its parts. Easier said than done of course but not much evidence of that under Bellamy.

Well, enough people were lapping it up only a few months back. He's still learning, and that's not a defence of him, i don't particularly like Bellamy, but in fairness to him he's been brave and when it's worked people on here have praised him to the hilt. Nothing much has changed in terms of tactics and playing style, we just don't have the quality against much better opposition, we don't have the concentration levels. I don't think that we were that bad this evening, The final two goals were poor to give away.

Am I right in thinking that a big win against Liechtenstein (7-0) and we only need to draw against North Macedonia?
    (It's unlikely, obviously.)

Rodon, Ampadu and Neko Williams are PL regulars. Ben Davies is vastly experienced at PL. So it's not like they are lower League level. We seem so easy to play against. So easy to open up.

Nah Ashley. Ben Davies didn't do really well v Doku.😂

I agree. BJ has scored 26 Premier League goals in 113 appearances whereas MH has scored 15 Championship goals in 138 appearances. BJ scored 16 Championship goals in 59 appearances. He is a proven goalscorer at the highest level - 6 international goals, whereas MH is an unproven goalscorer even at a lower level.

    It just doesn’t make sense.

The first pen was unlucky. The following three goals were dreadful ones to concede.
The squad isn't great but we have as many PL players now as we have ever had.
It's the manner of the goals we are losing that grates.
