to me a toss up between Salech and NG
after scratching my head for a while I,ve plumped for NG . don't think he put a foot wrong

As per the game thread Wintle for me. He ran the midfield, combined well with Turnbull & then Robertson, defended well and made incisive passes.
Honourable mentions to Salech for his goals and Lawlor for his excellent positioning and reading of the game.
Ashford, Bagan and Wintle all very good, but with two goals and an assist, it has to be Salech for me - think he's been quite wasteful for much of the season, but yesterday he looked like the player who did well in the Championship while playing for the worst team in the league last season.
Wintle lost his man that nearly led to a goal from a corner
And then lost the ball needlessly on the edge of the box with a little kick out at the end that whilst it was clearly nothing, some refs would buy it.
I agree for the rest of the game he was good but these are big errors for me
Salech for me, scored 2 goals, lovey assist with that cushioned header for Davies’s goal and also cleared one off the line from their corner. He seems to be improving no end now he’s stopped wresting matches with the centre halves
