Didn't they pull Sepp Blater out of mothballs to get even him to say Infantino was awful?

Infantino has turned out to be a bigger cuunt than Blatter which is decent going.

The last sentence of the article will be interesting to judge upon after the tournament has ended.

On a personal basis (it could be my age), I'm less interested in this world cup than tge previous tournament which I thought was a shiitshow being held in Qatar.

It's lost its gloss for sure, I would imagine the Americans can make it a bit of a spectacle again.

Outrageous ticket prices, inflated transport costs and Infantino are certainly making it a spectacle.

Just for icing on the cake, Chris Martin has organised the traditional half time show.

    I can't wait.

It'll make a spectacle of itself, more like.

FIFA needs a damn good kick up the arse (or replacing ideally, but that's not going to happen).
How seriously its own ethics committee will take the complaint remains to be seen though.

It’s lost its gloss BECAUSE the Americans are hosting. Taking greed to new levels.

It will be fine when it gets underway, lot of bloat in terms of the extra matches but the knockouts onwards are always very entertaining for one reason or another.

From a fan point of view it's not great. Ticket prices from official sources are high but I understand a lot have been heavily discounted on secondary markets. (Not the later knockouts)

I'm not a fan of the multi country hosting unless it's somewhere tiny like the UK.

I'm not there though so like millions of others watching its not going to effect me in my living room.

I expect FIFA to heavily reinvest their great profits into the game.

Agreed, that was my point, it should be impressive and well organised for fans not travelling, let's wait and see.

    The worst World Cup ever?

Football’s a great game and it’ll be what happens on the pitch which will, almost certainly, define the tournament. However, for me, expanding the number of teams taking part has led to a situation where I look at the fixture lists and see plenty off games I have no interest in - it may turn out to be a memorable World Cup, but, for now, it’s the one I’ve looked forward to least and would hope that there is a real reckoning coming for FIFA if it flops.

Listening to that, makes me think, can I be arsed watching any of it, am I really interested !

All I can think about, is I want ingurlund to be embarrassing, not thinking about the actual football matches at all.

I’m actually glad I’ve got no reason to be there

Don't think I'll be watching any of it.
