We've won 7 matches in the FA cup in 11 seasons. That's 2 more games than we managed during the 2007/08 season.

Here's the hall of fame:

2008/09 - 3rd round - Reading (home) 2-0
2009/10 - 3rd round - Bristol City (home, replay) 1-0 - 4th round - Leicester City (home) 4-2
2013/14 - 3rd round - Newcastle (away) 2-1 - 4th round - Bolton (away) 1-0
2014/15 - 3rd round - Colchester (home) 3-1
2017/18 - 3rd round - Mansfield (away, replay) 4-1

Here's the list of FA cup defeats during that time:

2008/09 - 4th round - Arsenal (away, replay) 0-4
2009/10 - 5th round - Chelsea (away) 1-4
2010/11 - 3rd round - Stoke City (home, replay) 0-2
2011/12 - 3rd round - West Brom (away) 2-4
2012/13 - 3rd round - Macclesfield (away) 1-2
2013/14 - 5th round - Wigan (home) 1-2
2014/15 - 4th round - Reading (home) 1-2
2015/16 - 3rd round - Shrewsbury (home) 0-1
2016/17 - 3rd round - Fulham (home) 1-2
2017/18 - 4th round - Man City (home) 0-2 (dec)
2018/19 - 3rd round - Gillingham (away) 0-1

It's interesting to note that the last time we beat a team from a higher division when we beat Middlesbrough 11 years ago. Our record against teams in a lower division than us over the last decade reads played 7, won 3, lost 4. I feel convinced that our good result at Mansfield last season was due the lure of our next round opponents.
