It seems all the various Sports channels are producing their own “Best of….” lists in some shape or form …. even various websites

So, how about this one :

A world XI football team ……….. where the rules are:
1. A “cut-off” at 1970….. so the player must have been playing since that date (ie Stan Matthews would be invalid)
2. The player must have been “capped” by his country
3. No nationality can be repeated
4. No “club” can be repeated (ie you cannot have both Joe Ledley and Stilian Petrov in the team as both played at Celtic in their careers)
5. To keep it simple, formation can be 4-4-2 or 4-3-3
