I agree and I’m going to bed on this half glass full thinking and hopefully I won’t have nightmares about Collins being the new Madine after all.

Moore is bound to be disappointed not to get his move to the Premier League because, at his age, he must know it might have been his last chance of playing there. One way he could still do it is in a City side which gets promoted, but, clearly, whether it’s via that route or through a move, he has to keep performing like he did last season and that has to be good news for us in the short to medium term at least.

Moore certainly didn’t look like someone whose head was down when he came on against Forest.

One thing that’s been confirmed these last few days is that Nottingham Forest are absolute shite.

Yeah. A total freak, you don't usually lose a game and move up a place but you get the general point.

Apologies for my positive thinking. Like the bookmakers, I had formed the opinion that City would be able to bludgeon most Championship sides into submission via their obligatory aerial bombardment. I had acknowledged the team's lack of ability with the ball, but I believed their physical presence alone would be enough to gain a play-off spot. However, having watched last night's garbage (as well as the recent games against Bristol City and Nottingham Forest), I've revised my opinion. Mid-table now looks odds on to me.

I still think that Keiffer Moore could also get to the prem by continuing to play well and banging the goals in.
I could see him going somewhere like Fulham should Mitrovic be unavailable for some reason.

Obviously I would like him to stay with us but he looks in a different class compared to the rest of our squad and it showed again last night.
While those around him play pinball he continues to play as a proper centre forward.

If Moore had that second half headed chance that Collins missed, there is no doubt that net would have been bulging and we may have (undeservedly) got something from the game.

It's on nights like these that I am reminded of those that said "I'm glad we are going down, the championship is much better than the prem" ---- like fk it is.
