No, just "more authentic" considering the scrutiny that journalists for large broadcasters will come under if their stories are full of inaccuracies or outright lies.

Contrary to popular belief, some of us are capable of taking each news story we read on merit and using logic and powers of deduction to help us decide if something is believable.

I'm sure she's very reliable. Never mind that her own students wrote a 33 page scientific rebuttal of her nonsense (such as only tuberculosis, ebola and smallpox are transmitted through the air, for one).
