Not really. I don't celebrate the stealing of the land or the people that did it. In fact, Columbus Day is now known as Indigenous Peoples' Day. Plus your land was stolen by the the Saxons, the Angles, and the Jutes. And much of it was flattened by the Germans. Of which Charles is one.

You can do what you want with your money and good luck to you. You should show other people the same courtesy but that's what you fail to do; anyone who views anything remotely differently is labelled as something varying from Tory to Fascist (on the rare days you can distinguish between the two).

You've said on here before you are pretty wealthy, and again, good luck to you. That does however leave you open to claims of hypocrisy because you could give that wealth away to help others, as that's what you want others to do

You could also have a bit more humility about people less well off who view things differently, but again, you never do, you look firmly down your nose at them and make no attempt to understand their position. This is pretty common on the left nowadays and it's why many left wing parties have lost a lot of the working class vote. Paul Embery wrote a pretty good book on it

C’mon you know the score in the UK, the mega rich milk the revenue system, make obscene millions (or even billions) hand over fist yet promote ‘shock,horror’ should the working class ask for a few bob more. The sad thing is a lot of the working class lap up their shite, they’ll tell you that they know a train driver who’s on a grand a week, I say, fair play to them, shows what having a strong union fighting for you can achieve. I don’t know anyone who’d refuse a high pay rise but the right wing media demonise it and the same folk agree
