Transfer deadline looming, always a tease

We get to this point each year (or twice), hoping for 2 or 3, expecting 1 or 2, praying for 1 and ending up disappointed.

Erol also seems to expect 2 (or 3). Will it be underwhelming as usual or will we be pleasantly surprised for a change?

I’m going for 2, so therefore expect just 1 and an announcement of failure to agree.

I think it'll end up being just the one - a centre-back.

As much as I'd like to see it happen, Moore seems more unlikely than likely.

If we get one, a CB who can challenge for the shirt it will be a decent window
Anything else is a bonus, although I expect there will be free agents available for a short term fix in September.

We still need to get a couple out on loan for experience, Evans Benjamin etc
There are still some that need moving on , although maybe, just maybe some of those on the fringe might respond better to Buluts management approach and prove their worth to the squad?

Hoping for a decent centre back rather than someone who isn’t up to it.

I suspect there may also be a surprise departure, my guess being Robinson or Colwill
