Any talk of some sort of limited use of nuclear weapons (e.g. by Putin) is insane IMO. Apart from the risk of immediate escalation, do the would-be perpetrators assume their own territory/citizens would somehow be immune from the effects of radiation and fall-out? I well remember the Chernobyl accident and the subsequent radioactive sheep many, many miles away in north Wales!
