    Brayden Clarke

Arsenal also have James Sweet who made the bench against Porto... you don't get to read a lot about these youngsters..
Omari Benjamin possibly? Youth striker at Arsenal

Some of our very talented young players I can think of. Probably forgotten some obvious ones.

Plenty to be excited about. We should never expect to see a Gareth Bale type star again - he was a freak let’s be fair. But the strength in depth is improving over all I think.
Iwan Morgan up front as well only 18. A big chunk of that u19s side seem to be decent prospects, one of them already played a few times for Barnsley at 17/18

The u19s and u17s seem very talented, far more so than I can remember. Oliver Bostock, Brayden Clarke and Elliot Myles seemingly the pick of the bunch at that level.

Feels like Chris Popov has been around for ages

I saw that he was linked with a move to Everton though he seemed to have a decent record at Arsenal

I think Brayden Clarke is the son of Nigel Quashie, always see him at Wales youth camps on social media. Think Clarke'll be the only one to play in both the u17 Euros last summer and the one this coming summer. Things seem to be looking up at youth levels

Alas, I think we have little to look forward to in the next couple of years. Nations league against unappealing teams and then a world cup campaign we will be very unlikely to get anything from.

Euro 2028 qualifying should be alright esp with the carrot of home games, but that feels a long way off

I think we should be poaching some English kids that won't get a chance, start scouting for welsh Grannies, probably a good job for Sludge.

                        Re: Emerging Welsh wonder kids

i believe premier league academies are probably the best in the world with the sheer investment made in them and with Cardiff & Swansea so deep in the premier league scouting circuits Wales is going to get a conveyor belt of good duel & fully qualified kids.

Probably be worth getting a coach who has come through aged grade football preferably Welsh....ummmm

it's impossible to know whether any of the current talented youngsters will go on to be another bale.
even a few years into bales senior career you wouldn't have thought he would go on to do what he did

This looks a decent result given comparitive resources. Hopefully a few decent players will emerge.

Very promising that the youth age grades seem to all be doing well, there must be a few quality prospects to be getting these results.

I just saw this link about grassroots investment on the FAW website. Seems to be some sort of funding as part of being a Euro 2028 host country as well. I'd love to see what their actual plan is with the revenue from the World Cup qualification etc. I live in Australia now and the grassroots here are incredible compared to what I grew up with in the valleys.
