The last time the Bluebirds managed to beat anyone in a league game by two or more goals was the 2-0 victory over Bristol City at the Cardiff City Stadium way back on 28th October 2023.

No other club in the top five divisions of English football are on a longer run of this kind. Lowly Morecambe, who are rock bottom of the Football League, are second on the list with a string of 32 League Two games without beating an opponent by two or more goals.

City are also on a run of 38 games without scoring three or more goals in a Championship match. The last time Buluts boys managed to score three or more in a league game was the 4-0 victory at Huddersfield on 24th October 2023.

On the flip side, the Bluebirds have been defeated in Championship matches by two or more goals on 17 occasions during the same period, while no less than 10 sides have managed to score three or more goals against City from the end of October 2023 to present.
