I've been looking up some stats on Fbref. One that keeps standing out is that when we've had more touches of the ball and attempted more passes (overall), we've had a pretty dire record. Other than the home wins over Plymouth and Portsmouth, our best successes have been when we've had less of the ball.
Out of 18 games where we've won less than half of our aerial duels, we've won once.
In the 10 games where the goalkeeper has launched it forward from backpasses more than 40 yards the most, we've won 4 and lost 2. In the 10 where the keeper has launched it forward the least, we've won 3 and lost 6.
