RichardM made a comment that because there were spare spaces on the trust board they were open to all. I was pointing out that there may be spare places but they are not accessible until there is an election. Generally when there is an election the seats will be filled but over time seats will become available as people leave for whatever reason. So his point was not really valid unless elections for spare seats are held when they become available
So, let's say that, instead of going down the confrontational route of forcing SGM's and possible EGM's, one of the twenty eight signatories instead chose to approach the Board on an individual basis volunteering to take up an unfilled Committee post that existed. Are you seriously suggesting that the Board would turn down such an offer? What evidence do you have that this would happen?
