“Huddersfield are obviously a big hitter in terms of this league, with a lot of experience in their rank. We’re very clear on what they can do well, and the next few days for ourselves are just about training our way to overcome that and try to play really well on Saturday to win again at home.

“It will be exciting for us to test ourselves against that calibre of team. It will be a good game for us. Our home form has been very good lately, so we’re looking to continue that and try to win again.

“It’s very important that we take it a game at a time, try and keep the players as fit and healthy as they are and improve them physically, trying to win each game as they come.

"If we do that enough times then we’ll be fine.

“We want to be aggressive and have a mindset to take on Huddersfield at every opportunity. We’re at our best at home when we’re on the front foot, when we’re being assertive and decisive.

"As much as the plaudits go to the players that score the goals and attack, the clean sheet last Saturday was very big for us because we’ve been very keen to improve that side of our game, and credit goes to the players for how good they’ve been."

And on injuries:

“Gabriel Osho came off in the game on Tuesday with a dislocated toe. "He’ll be assessed and scanned today.

"We’re not sure on the timescale yet, but he won’t be available on the weekend. The longer he's been here, the more obvious it's been to his teammates how important he will be for us in the long run, and obviously he wants to show that to the supporters as well.

He concluded: “Ollie’s doing really well, he’s starting to join little parts of our training but we’re keeping our expectations realistic in terms of when and where he will return.

"We’re still looking towards the end of December for a return to game action based on how much we have to train him because of how long he’s been out."
