Russia is now bullying Denmark with the batshit-crazy threat of nuking their warships if they try to do something to defend themselves against being bombed.
What the actual **** are they playing at? Can the West beat the shit out of them if it came to it?
Sooner or later they are going to do a Ukraine II and world leaders are going to have to respond with a strongly-worded letter or actually start kicking them a bit.
Why are they so ****ing insane?! They remind me of the kid in school who stared at everyone a lot and was looking to batter anybody who so much as brushed past them in the hall, in particular if that person was a bit puny. I can't help but think that there is a 99% chance that this is going to turn to shit.

Just posturing at the moment but has the potential to turn very grim.

I like Russia's reason for this threat.
this seems like posturing from a regime that perhaps is beginning to crack under the strain of the economic reality we find ourselves in today.
Strange though, its a shield so a defensive mechanism that NATO has, why is Russia getting peed off about it.
Its all posturing anyway.
because the Russian's don't have a shield which means that their nuclear warheads aren't going to have the same impact as NATOs.Originally Posted by Dr_Socks wrote on Mon, 23 March 2015 12:01
I probably shouldn't worry too much, they are probably just pissed.Originally Posted by Peace Frog wrote on Mon, 23 March 2015 11:55
Russia are being crippled by the western sanctions. The russians need to be strong, so it is all posturing to keep the ruskies on the street happy that russia is still strong.
Think of it as a gap in our radar capabilities being filled in, Russia will then make sure that gap is reinstated by taking out the facilities.Originally Posted by Optimistic Nick wrote on Mon, 23 March 2015 12:13
Russia are a key member and are trying to initiate the BRICS currency that would ultimately mean Oil in the Oil Rich countries and emerging economies would NOT be traded in US Dollars - it would tip America's economy over the edge. All is not as our government would like us to believeOriginally Posted by Barry Dragon wrote on Mon, 23 March 2015 12:17
You seem to be implying that someone can win a nuclear war.
Care to explain why oil being traded in other currencies would cripple America? It is already traded in other currencies, admittedly not nearly as much as is in USD. I am intrigued as to the reason why and the relevance?Originally Posted by clearly offside wrote on Mon, 23 March 2015 12:28

Wonder why they want to destabilise Russia and edit - occupy the Oil rich Middle East?Originally Posted by Barry Dragon wrote on Mon, 23 March 2015 13:08
Yes there is a world struggle for power, but the effects on the american economy are nothing like you insinuated. There is and always will be a rebalance of power. The BRICS nations will in ourlife times be major power in the world. It is nothing to fear, it is something to embrace.Originally Posted by clearly offside wrote on Mon, 23 March 2015 13:01
