Went last year and did a free walk tour. The guide was very friendly and basically told us all the best places to go etc as well as showing the most interesting bits of the city. Here is the link

Have stayed in the Polonia Palace hotel which is right in the centre, across the road from the central train station and across the road from the Cultural Palace, which is worth going to the top on a good day. Hotel is very good, value for money and provide a damn good breakfast. Obviously the old town is a must. Hotel Bristol has a good bar inside.
Just got a timehop of the photos I took in Warsaw so I was there a year ago today, weird!
Went there about 5 years ago
Good Place, stayed in the novotel
they give fliers out and the women come to your hotel
there a sports bar with a boxing ring in the middle of it
its just outside the main central underground station.
people friendly no trouble, beer's cheap and strong (zwieke 6.5 %), all the major fast food outlets are there.
the only sights i saw were bars sorry
i would go back
Cheers fellas, can't wait wasn't expecting to get tickets.
