Thread: One silver lining from yesterday's cloud

    One silver lining from yesterday's cloud

    Craig Davies putting his hat in the ring for Wales. Surely, he would make a better option than Simon Church?

    He plays regularly, holds the ball up well and judging by yesterday's performance is technically good in front of goal.

    In contrast Church struggles to make the first team and often seems ring-rusty when he comes on for Wales.

    Time for Colemen to give him a call?

    Pace, power and didn't give our defenders a minutes rest yesterday. This fella got all the attributes of a good striker. Just a shame he doesn't do it on a consistent basis. I'd definitely have him in the Wales squad though.

    Is he any Welsher than "Ash"?

    Good point - I don't think any of us could cope with another campaign from Grangetown Blue!

    He was left exposed too often but I think I could take Fabio on that side of the pitch too. (-;

    Although I do think Church is a real weak link in the current Welsh squad.
