For me Nigel Adkins is top of the list.
How about Jimmy Floyd ? He's just taken Burton up.
Maybe Allardyce will be available in a few weeks
Please not Dave Jones and I don't think it'll be a good 1st job for Bellamy.
Alan Curbishly ? By the way , did you know his first name is really Llewelyn?
Maybe one of the better managers in L 1 Carl Robinson would be nice, but would he leave mk ?
Mark Cooper of Swindon, Simon Grayson , Nigel Clough?
Darren Ferguson?
If a change is to be made then it'll need to be in the next month so worth thinking of options ?
I'd love to see Slade succeed mind.

good shout, he's out of a job tooOriginally Posted by Croesy Blue wrote on Sat, 18 April 2015 22:31
Seems like quite a progressive, modern manager, who along with a director of football has made some decent signings especially in the loan market.Originally Posted by Croesy Blue wrote on Sat, 18 April 2015 22:31
Dai Hunt
can`t have a like for like replacement, try again.
Tough one.
Doing a great job at one club doesn't necessarily mean a manager does well at another club.
Managers who win promotion from the Championship over the last decade or so have tended to be younger managers with less experience. Unless everything is stable behind the scenes we could have Mourinho in charge and struggle.
Malky had the right idea in getting the club united behind a philosophy. It seems that notion has been ripped apart.
It needs a no nonsense character who will take whatever Vincent Tan says with a pinch of salt and ignore him.
A lamp.
Whoever it is will have to build from bottom upwards , Academy,DVP and first team all playing same style so players understand their role when stepping up , players comfortable on the ball to pass and move .for starters
How many of those would be prepared to work for Tan though?Originally Posted by Lawnmower wrote on Sat, 18 April 2015 22:29
neil Warnock, chris coleman, alan shearer
Exactly. Tan had to reach down to League One to find Slade.Originally Posted by the other bob wilson wrote on Sun, 19 April 2015 05:27
Damning fact is the only person to come up with a sensible selection so far is Croesy.Originally Posted by the other bob wilson wrote on Sun, 19 April 2015 05:27
I've had this sneaking feeling for a while that Bellamy is the chosen one.
Might explain his appearances on the pitch and in the directors box, dream ticket with Bellamy??Originally Posted by NECS wrote on Sat, 18 April 2015 22:47
I'm not so sure. The local vicars congregation tailed off a bit during the second half of the season.Originally Posted by Lawnmower wrote on Sun, 19 April 2015 07:25
Just so long as it's not the Martyr boss. Not sure you could afford the compensation for him, let alone some of the others you mentioned.Originally Posted by Lawnmower wrote on Sat, 18 April 2015 22:29
Bellamy & TrollopeOriginally Posted by ragbone Red wrote on Sun, 19 April 2015 08:19
Slade has done what Cardiff brought him in to do. Kept them up and reduced the wage bill. They even broke into the top half a few weeks ago, which excited some fans to the point that they were looking at a top 10 finish and the season long aim of relegating Millwall.Originally Posted by Croesy Blue wrote on Sat, 18 April 2015 22:31

This
I've never seen anyone more courted by the club than Dai Hunt
In the real world -
Bellamy & Trollope
[/quote
I mentioned this at the game yesterday, Trollope & Bellamy seems the sensible solution if only to put some pride back into the players
Old mother hubbard's cat - couldn't do any worse.
I don't think Slade is doing that and I think a number of other managers would.Originally Posted by Loya Jirga wrote on Sun, 19 April 2015 09:03
To answer the original question Robinson would be my shout.Originally Posted by Loya Jirga wrote on Sun, 19 April 2015 09:03
