Meschede opening the batting tonight to make it a 3rd different opener in as many weeks

123/4 off 14.4 which is OK but not as good as it should be given where they were off 9 overseas. Once again Wright fails. Shortly this is his last chance.
169/5. Cooke did well but did not have enough of the strike. We are 20 runs light of what we should have got considering the position after 9 overs.
Its a par score so if we they bowl well....
Not looking good at the moment, Middlesex 60/1 after 6.
Agreed. Middlesex well on top. We need wickets
91/2 off 10. Middlesex on top. We need wickets to try and slow the run rate.
How can you tell the BBC that Cottey's mike is not working.
They need to bring back Hogan now. The game looks lost
Great over by Meschede, 2 wickets, 6 runs.
C'mon Glammy
13 needed from the last
Glamorgan WIN!
Well done Waggy. So important to win that. We had a par score tonight and it was just enough. Both innings followed a very similar path but Cooke did enough in our final over when we got 20 off it.
Great stuff and hopefully the sun will shine next Saturday and Glammy will get a bumper crowd.
Yeeessss
I really thought that we had come up at least 10 runs short in our innings but fair play a great win and something to build on.
Similar size crowd to last week Tim?Originally Posted by Lawnmower wrote on Fri, 05 June 2015 21:44
Hopefully we can get 8000 for Somerset next week.
Maybe a bit smaller.Originally Posted by Pearcey wrote on Fri, 05 June 2015 21:47
With the sun out and on the back of a Wales win there will be a bumper crowd next week.Originally Posted by Lawnmower wrote on Fri, 05 June 2015 22:08
The club try hard to get people in and games like tonight are well worth the moneyOriginally Posted by Pearcey wrote on Fri, 05 June 2015 22:10
A summer's afternoon. It may be warm enough to watch some cricket.
Indeed. Great game tonight but I was wondering what happened to global warming.Originally Posted by Dave Blue wrote on Fri, 05 June 2015 22:58
Great win tonight. Wasn't easy to defend when Middlesex seemed to be cantering along quite nicely until a double wicket 17th over. As much as they tried they just couldn't find any gaps in the field at the death.
After about 6 attempts that's the first time my son has seen them win.
