We could've reached double that if we had white shorts ...

I forecast11000 when everyone was doom and gloom a few months ago. Hopefully my guess was understated
I wonder if the recent joys of Welsh football is driving season ticket sales.
We'll see true number sold first game against Fulham.Originally Posted by the other bob wilson wrote on Fri, 19 June 2015 15:19
I am not suggesting the figure quoted is inaccurate or rounded up quite a bit as you suggest (a bit of "poetic licence") but it would be far more believable , and a more positive message from the club if it had been for instance "Ken Choo , the club`s CEO has confirmed that season ticket sales to date are in excess of 9,000". If the message is really as positive as suggested , then why can`t someone senior put their message to it rather than a "spokesman" who could well have no involvement in or knowledge of sales levels?Originally Posted by Cleve van Leef wrote on Fri, 19 June 2015 16:10
Christ! The things people find to still moan about these days.!Originally Posted by Since62 wrote on Fri, 19 June 2015 16:21
Club should say that about three thousand have been sold, then we'll all be pleasantly surprised come the Fulham game, it's like doing a roll call in your wallet the morning after a night out, you've got it in your head that there's about 5 quid in there but when you count it there's a twenty pound note left.
Maybe a lot of the recent purchasers of season tickets are older people like myself whose memories fade quickly. I can barely remember last season already (it was pretty forgettable mind) so I'm looking forward to next season for no reason other than to catch up with people again, and to see if perhaps there is anything substantial behind the appointment of Mr Slade or whether he is just hopeless.
I may even take in a thrashing at the hands of Watford pre-season as I'm starting to need a footie fix...

The marquee signing of the ex arsenal player surely will send thousands in their droves down to the ticket office
if things continue to improve, they will be nearly as many fans than are currently watching the womens world cup.
