So they have a right to march and show their pride but some people don't have a right to be uncomfortable with it or say they are uncomfortable for religious or any other reason? is that also fair?Originally Posted by Feedback wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 20:44
I believe in live and let live, but "Gay Pride" surely is an oxymoron. If they were "proud" then they would call it "homosexual pride", rather than hide behind a word which they have hijacked, to create a fig leaf of respectability.
I got nothing against what they do in the privacy of their own homes, but it seems lots of the establishment are at it, and I'm afraid they might make it compulsory.
Are you offended Mrs Whitehouse?Originally Posted by blue matt wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:00
I fail to see how that worksOriginally Posted by Loya Jirga wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:10
This is true Mrs R.Originally Posted by Mrs Steve R wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:07
To the wearer it serves the same purpose as a football fan putting on an ill-fitting football shirt to watch a football game. One is thinking "I'm looking great in this", and the other is hoping to pull.Originally Posted by blue matt wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:13
If he was would you be offended?Originally Posted by Loya Jirga wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:10
I think you want me to say yes - so I'll say yes.Originally Posted by Mrs Steve R wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:16
Shall we go back to that post you didn't understand?Originally Posted by Loya Jirga wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:18
There's so many of them tonight.Originally Posted by Mrs Steve R wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:21
Isn't it all about trying to show off your dick and your tits without being fully naked? So surely it's more to do with promiscuity than pride?
The reward for conformity is that everyone likes you but yourself, why should people have to say they are fine with it if they are not for whatever reason? they have rights too, I don't have a problem with it, I believe in fairness, you have a right to be offended by him being offended but he does not have the right to be offended? Can you see the madness of it all?Originally Posted by Loya Jirga wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:22
Just incase you reply to this with " agree with him about what " ? ? ? as i suspect you might, Feedback said its about " inclusion and showing society that gays are just everyday people who fancy the same gender "Originally Posted by Loya Jirga wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:16
So is it right for someone who is gay to be discriminated against? I suspect that is one of the reasons why they feel the need for days like today.Originally Posted by Mrs Steve R wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:07
so so trueOriginally Posted by Pearcey wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:45
I'd say a bit thick. People calling for a 'Straight Pride' when being Straight and not having to be ashamed of it or hide that fact has been pretty mainstream going on a few thousand years, to hazard a guess!Originally Posted by SLUDGE FACTORY wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 17:22
which is exactly what these pride marches are about, in todays day and age, we have no need for themOriginally Posted by Mrs Steve R wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:40
I'm not saying that at all.Originally Posted by Pearcey wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:45
the people who are " anti gay " just see them in " furry thongs " and " feather boa's " and it just confirms what they thinkOriginally Posted by Tuerto wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:51
I'm not saying you were offended, I asked if you were offended would he be.Originally Posted by blue matt wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:55
The only people interested in a 'Straight Pride' would be fellas who want to show off their missus wearing a see-through lace thong, with a dildo stuck up her arse. Besides, they've already got Swingers Clubs that cater for it, and so much more.Originally Posted by Tuerto wrote on Sat, 15 August 2015 21:51
