Didn't hear any booing in the Canton, most people just clapped. Think everyone was still in shock after their guy missed with the last kick.Originally Posted by TH63 wrote on Tue, 29 December 2015 23:01

What was all that about?
I hope I missed something and that people weren't booing the team, OK we should've won, but the team deserves our support

Few miserable old sods in the Ninian.
Rubbish really.
First half was excellent, should have been 3 up, 2 nd half ran out of steam.
Forest had 10 men behind the ball all the way through and we ran out of ideas.
Booing wasn't justified.
Doesn't exactly make players want to bust a gut for us does it ?
I thought the booing was awful. Right at the end we could have easily lost that game but instead we got a decent point. Yes we could have won it but we don't have any God given right to expect it. It's a shame but some of our fans have really got it in for Slade and the team.
I don't like booing, I would never boo my own team. Unfortunately It seems to have become the thing to do nowadays if you don't win.
Maybe they were booing the ref It's always easier to slag off fellow fans though.
Maybe they were booing the fans.Originally Posted by Tandy wrote on Tue, 29 December 2015 23:37
Mate, they weren't booing the ref.Originally Posted by Tandy wrote on Tue, 29 December 2015 23:37
I hate booing but I suspect those who booed did it out of more home game frustration rather than to get at the team. However I wouldn't rule out it also being a feeling towards Slade.Originally Posted by TH63 wrote on Tue, 29 December 2015 23:01
We played well for 30 minutes but rarely tested the keeper. Second half we were complete shite and didn't test the keeper at all. If it wasn't for a lucky deflection we never looked like scoring. Two shockingly mediocre teams.Originally Posted by Lawnmower wrote on Tue, 29 December 2015 23:13
If you think we didn't test the keeper at all then you must have spent the first half in the bogsOriginally Posted by Pug wrote on Tue, 29 December 2015 23:51
We didn't test De Vries much. Most of our shots in the first half cleared the bar by 10-20 foot!!!!!Originally Posted by Lawnmower wrote on Tue, 29 December 2015 23:54
The one shot in the first half nearly hit the roof of the grange endOriginally Posted by thornhillblue wrote on Wed, 30 December 2015 00:01
De vries did make a good save from watt granted. What else?Originally Posted by Lawnmower wrote on Tue, 29 December 2015 23:54
Pilks had him scrambling after Noone's superb cross, but it dropped just wide. Think Ralls had a decent longish range effort saved. Can't think of much else.Originally Posted by Father Dougal wrote on Wed, 30 December 2015 00:12
2nd half we ran out of ideasOriginally Posted by Baloo wrote on Wed, 30 December 2015 00:16
It was 2 points dropped as beside that they were there for the taking having played only 48 hours earlier and with a poor away record, but if you think we will walk the ball in with the likes of Mills and Hobbs at centre half then you are dreaming.Originally Posted by Father Dougal wrote on Wed, 30 December 2015 00:12
I think fans 'boo' the score rather than the players.
Basically, if the away fans are happy with the result (at half time or full time), and celebrate, the home fans boo.
I would tend to agree, however there are rare cases where I think the only way the players will understand is from a mass booing at the end. Think of the Boro game a few years ago (3-0).. that was worthy of more than just a booing imo..Originally Posted by Lawley Kazoo wrote on Tue, 29 December 2015 23:29
