Good Moaning Mr Polo.Originally Posted by Poloingham wrote on Tue, 12 January 2016 08:26
Sounds like you've never seen him play and just went to Wikipedia to see some statsOriginally Posted by Poloingham wrote on Tue, 12 January 2016 08:26
"While reports have put a permanent deal at £1million, Valley sources claim that the package is double that"
2 million seems a tad steep given his circumstances

Would have to agree that £2m seems a tad high in the circumstances. The regime at Charlton is possibly more unpopular that ours at the moment so it could be that the "Valley sources" are talking the deal up in an attempt to keep the natives happy. Alternatively it could include many conditions that may never be realistically met.Originally Posted by Kitman wrote on Tue, 12 January 2016 08:36
you should have read wikipedia not just looked up the stats, played most games at right full back in front of a certain super Kev, hardly surprising he's not scored manyOriginally Posted by Poloingham wrote on Tue, 12 January 2016 08:26
The "package" will include his pay over the course of his contract probably meaning the up front fee is £1m.Originally Posted by BlueToujours wrote on Tue, 12 January 2016 08:49
2 million package for Watt? No thanks, he does have some ability above and beyond Revell and Mason that's for sure. 500k Would be more than enough for him. He doesn't look like a prolific scorer, although I'd like to see him in a decent quality team.
There are not many strikers out there for that money so I would pay that.He has made an impact since he has been here.Buy cheap buy twice ie Revell,Doyle etcOriginally Posted by Kitman wrote on Tue, 12 January 2016 08:36
I'll believe both when the ink is dry on the contracts!!!
Top player, if he gets his head sorted he will go on to be a very cheap purchase.Originally Posted by Pug wrote on Tue, 12 January 2016 09:40
Hopefully as he gets older, he gets his head in gear.Originally Posted by Jimmy the Jock wrote on Tue, 12 January 2016 10:58
Just read on *****' board that Bolton owner Eddie Davies has blocked all proposed sales of players while he tries to sell the club for a quid - makes sense from his point of view I suppose.
Assuming that the Bolton players have not been paid, a Bolton player could resign claiming the club has breached his contract of employment by not paying him wages, and then become a free agent.
Getting close to the date that they can do that!
