And so it continued ...
Nobody really cares about debt to equity- and they never really did. Sure a few posters here bang on about it as a reason to have a pop st tan but as this weeks news shows- they didn't really care about it.
The atmosphere around the club and on the board is poor because of what has been happening on the pitch for the last 2 years. The team has been consistently poor to watch and even boring. Until that changes on the pitch what is said off it will be irrelevant to 99% of the clubs fans.
It works both ways of course- nobody really cares about the debt increasing if the team is playing exciting football and winning games.
I feel sorry for anyone who sits through a 4-3 end to end win in silence thinking "I'm just worried about the debt being converted to equity" or someone who can sit through a 0-0 home draw v Rotherham enjoying it because the debt is now sorted! Just doesn't happen that way- what happens on the pitch is the only thing that dictates how football fans react and feel.
Maybe you're right, but I feel a lot more optimistic about the club now than I did at the start of the week.Originally Posted by Father Dougal wrote on Sat, 13 February 2016 08:43
Probably because the team haven't played at home since then.Originally Posted by the other bob wilson wrote on Sat, 13 February 2016 08:46
Is this atmosphere replicated at every club around and below us - or is it just our fans who are like this when we're not wining all the time?Originally Posted by Father Dougal wrote on Sat, 13 February 2016 08:43
I remember reading here that Cardiff City fans are unique! I doubted it then too...Originally Posted by Baloo wrote on Sat, 13 February 2016 09:17
Yes. Nothing special about Cardiff fans at all, it's the same with football fans everywhere. No exceptions.Originally Posted by Baloo wrote on Sat, 13 February 2016 09:17
So you're speaking for me here too?Originally Posted by Father Dougal wrote on Sat, 13 February 2016 09:22
C'mon CityOriginally Posted by Father Dougal wrote on Sat, 13 February 2016 09:22
The game lasts 90 mins, the rest of the time football supporters will discuss the game , the club the general state of the club. At the moment it is generally quite positive, we cant change the history, hopefully we have all learnt from it.Originally Posted by Father Dougal wrote on Sat, 13 February 2016 08:43
